
Terms of Service
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY…
The following terms set out the conditions under which The Couple (“you” & "your") agree to engage the services of BLOOM Floral Design (“us” & “we”).
Payment of a deposit is an automatic agreement to these terms.
This is version 2.0 of my terms & conditions, effective from 25 January 2025 until further notice.
1. Booking a date
1.0 All enquiries for availability will be responded to promptly by me and all quotes are confirmed in writing and sent via email.
1.1 Your date is not secured with me until your deposit is paid.
2. Deposit
2.0 A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date (unless otherwise agreed) and an invoice is issued to you, via email, which also includes at £3.50 card processing fee.
2.1 If for any reason you need to change your date, the deposit can be transferred to another date - provided your new date is available. Once your deposit is paid, we cannot be held responsible for any changes to your date which are out of our control.
3. Payment of your balance
3.0 Your balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your event date, and I will contact you with a reminder.
3.1 Your Flowers will not be ordered until your balance payment has been received. I hold no responsibility for the lack of availability of your chosen flower colour or style due to delayed payment on your part.
3.2 Repeated chasing for payment will incur administration charges of £50 which will be payable to avoid cancellation of your contract with BLOOM Floral Design.
3.3 At this point, no changes can be made that reduce your floral booking. Additional florals can however be added and a new invoice issued.
3.4 Your balance should be paid by BACS into my Business Account.
4. Packages
4.0 All my packages are charged at either £500, £650 or £750 and full details of everything included is clearly provided. The packages will not be deviated from unless at the discretion and explicit agreement of Andie, the owner of BLOOM Floral Design.
4.1 The price of the packages has been calculated to provide you with the best price and value for money. If you have less Bridesmaids or Groomsmen for example, then these florals will be added into the Bridal Bouquet to make up the cost difference.
4.2 Extra florals can be ordered, and an additional quote provided.
4.3 BLOOM Floral Design reserves the right to alter any florals if availability becomes an issue. If this happens, I will match the colour and size of florals as closely as possible. Refer to section 5.
5. Floral Designs & Substitutions
5.0 It is important to understand that when working with a fresh and natural product, and in the unforeseen circumstance a particular flower or foliage is not available, I will use my extensive knowledge and expertise to find a similar flower of matching colour, size and style.
5.1 BLOOM cannot be held responsible for flower shortages due to weather or grower supply issues.
5.2 Each bouquet and arrangement is a unique piece of floral art and as a consequence any images provided to me and any images I provide to you, are for inspiration only. BLOOM Floral Design cannot guarantee your florals will exactly match any images you provide because they are someone else’s work. Please ensure my style aligns with your vision before booking me.
6. Delivery & Venue set up costs
6.0 All deliveries are charged at £1 per mile.
6.1 If booking Table decorations, Bud Vases, Pew Ends etc. from us then a venue set up charge of £20 per hour will be charged and added to your quote.
7. Hire charges
7.0 Hire charges and deposits are payable to use any of our glassware.
7.1 To receive your deposit back, I ask that our glassware is returned to us in a good, clean and undamaged condition and no later than 48 hours after your event. Any later than this and we reserve the right to retain your hire deposit amount.
7.2 Upon receipt of our returned glassware, the items will be thoroughly checked, and your deposit will be returned within seven days. Any damages will be calculated for and removed from your total deposit amount.
7.3 BLOOM Floral Design reserves the right to alter the style of the glassware provided if needed.
8. Additional Calls & Meetings
8.0 My initial consultation, quote and final call are all included in the price of your floral booking. Should any further meetings, zoom calls or telephone calls lasting more than 15 minutes be required these will incur an additional charge of £50 per hour, which will automatically be added to your final balance. This fee is to cover my time for the telephone call and subsequent additional admin work.
9. Photographs
9.0 I absolutely love receiving professional photographs of our work and by sending me such images, you are automatically agreeing that they can be used on my website or social media accounts. Full reference to your special day will be given.
9.1 Where applicable, full credit will be given to your photographer.
10. Complaints & Refunds
10.0 If in the unlikely case that you need to complain, please do so in writing within 24 hours of your event providing as much detail as possible including photographic evidence whilst being mindful that my work is a fresh and natural product. My email address is:

10.1 Refunds are at the discretion of Andie, the owner of BLOOM Floral Design.
10.2 Liability shall be capped at the amount of the order and no more.
